Well people, I must say, I've missed this place the last couple weeks, but we moved out of our trailors and into a giant warehouse with no internet, and the internet rooms on post have the forum banned because the people in charge here suck. But, I'm on the way home now. I'm sitting in Baghdad, just pretty much waiting for a flight to Kuwait then a flight to Texas. I'm suppose to be back by the 5th or so.

I've heard that, partly probably for security reasons, a lot of military installations block most sites with functionality which would allow military personnel to post information to the world i.e. like all forums, all video sites, all SNS sites, the whole nine yards.

Ah, I got back yesterday afternoon. To answer the first question, the .net site is blocked most likely because of links to the .com site and the availability of the erotica forum, so they banned them on MWR computers for "adult content".

And my day yesterday once I got my barracks room, showered and changed, went pretty simply. Texas Roadhouse for a prime rib and a couple beers, then chilled at my friends house and drank a 12 pack to myself and smoked a pack of Camel Turkish Golds because I was stuck with nothing but normal lights during the deployment.

I might actually make it out to a bar tonight.
