    Default Terrance The Investement Banker

OK, so I have a date at a really posh restaurant with Terrance the Investment Banker, and it happens to be at a very posh hotel, (I have never met him), and he just e-mailed me and wanted to know if he should reserve a room in the hotel for us!!!

I swear, these boys are just so forward!!! I think I already hate him. Should I even go on this date? I know I am going to hate him.

It's just that I always date such losers. He actually HAS a job, etc. But I hate him... Should I date him? Or hate him?

Don't bother hating him. Waste of time. You really need to find some new guys haha. You're always going for the extreme of pretty boys or nauseous yuppies like this one.

I should show up in black lipstick and total bondage and start whipping him at the restaurant... No, he would probably like that... Why are investment bankers so uncool?

I think it is reasonable to explain that you don't think you two are at that stage just yet. Dress nice, appropriate for the occasion, enjoy the food and good service, and let the guy try to make his case for why you should allow him a more intimate role in your life. Don't let someone push you into some freakshow role because they tried to potentially not treat you with the proper amount of respect.

Yes Forrest, exactly right. You should see me when I do the NEW YORK TROPHY WIFE LOOK!! French manicure, pink/beige lipstick, Ralph Lauren gown. I think I actually look better that way than the goth way.

I had a little talk with him, and now he says that he will be a gentleman and he was just kidding. So I guess I will go on the date and tell you all how bad it was!! That's what dates are for!!

Well tonight is my date with Terrance the investment banker. He called and actually sounded OK...

I am wearing my Ralph Lauren evening gown, and we are going to Arabelle, which is in the Hotel Plaza Athenea, (where Jackie - O used to stay)...

So why do I keep thinking about that English guy I was in love with...?

Yuppies can't do accents. I think the only accent they could ever do is a "Seinfeld" accent!!!

John Travolta really did turn into a yuppie, didn't he...? He looked kind of punk in Grease.... John did not age well... I swear some men look better older and some just had that cute phase in the beginning...

Well I blame the 80's and his Scientology thing on his yuppienessness. I had hope for him in the 90's...then he went and fucked it all up.

Travolta was slightly too funky to age well. I saw that high pitched guy from Welcome Back, Kotter tribute him on tv the other day. They showed Travolta doing commercials taking a shower. That squiggy guy looked really old. I don't even watch tv, but I was waiting for a cab in the lobby and that came on haha. TV is fucking scary these days.

OK so I went on the date. Two words:

    BAD TOUPEE!!!

He would have looked OK if he did not have that horrible rug on top of his head!!! And he kept chewing gum! During a gourmet meal!! Oh, and he kept talking about SEINFELD!! And it was so funny because we were just saying that about SEINFELD. What is it with yuppies and Seinfeld?

BUT THE FOOD was SO GOOD!! That might be the best meal I have ever eaten. The soup, let me tell you about the soup, chunks of lobster in a creme fraiche butternut squash soup with a hint of dill.... I could live on this soup. Then steak, wonderful.....

Then his had started to sort of crawl up my leg... Ew!!!! Then I just took a cab home!!!!

I just think it's a riot that he basically asked you for sex in an email. hahaha. a grown man emailing a woman to ask her to sleep with him... that's like a second grader passing a note: "do you like me? Yes-No (circle one)"

he sounds pretty lame, when i read the title of this topic i thought it was going to be a posting of some web comic like the one's amelia had. hehe

    *Cracks up*

At least you had good food. He didn't sound that appealing from the beginning, actually, and the fact that he slid his hand up your leg after you openly expressed your disposition on that sort of attitude proves that he's a dunce. Not just a dunce, but a dunce who probably wouldn't have taken 'no' for an answer. Ah well, he would have been a good guy to practice your aim on whether it be a mace shot or a nut kick (sorry guys, I know that can cause a flinch upon reading).
