    Default Question for the Aesthetes

What do u guys recommend in terms of facial creams and skin care? I tend to keep harsh hours so I get the bags under the eyes, uneven skin tone etc. What is good for tightening up the skin tone, taking away lines and blemishes etc? I just bought a few products that seem to be working, but I'd really like to know what is best? Btw what the fuck is botox? I'm good with makeup etc so I would be able to apply any type of product.

Well, firstly, if you're not already doing it, you need a beauty ritual.
Makeup remover for before bed. Cleanser (any kind will do, experiment around depending on your skin type, Toner (non-alcohol based, like Witch Hazel.) And a nice moisturizer. I would also recommend if you wear makeup everyday, to make sure to invest in a pre-base. Sounds silly, but it makes your base much smoother, and protects your skin nicely.

If you are looking to an inexpensive start, Aveenio and Biore have a nice line of cleanser, moisturizer, and such.

As for other lines, you can visit Sephoria, which is a really exellent place for more face products than you could ever want. If you're not obsessive like me, and want a whole product line, Clinique works quite well. However, I personally recommend:

Estee Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex
(Its a splurge, bit it almost always made my skin feel better.)

Lancôme IMPACTIVE - Lightweight pre-makeup moisturizer.

Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturizer SPF 6 - Heavier Weight moisturizer.

Estee Lauder - So Polished Exfoliating Scrub (a really really good fix for you're skin if its feeling rough. You get a nice glow from it!!)

    Nars Makeup Primer

    Good luck!!

The Eye Repair stuff works nice. I used it all over my face and it made it feel refreshed, and my skin looked good. Particularly nice if you've had a rough night. The stuff sounds like alot, but even if you don't use much makeup, if you use the whole cleanse tone mosturize bit, you'll notice nicer skin! Swear!!

And Pre-Base works great. It can even work really well when your using a cheapie base that normally makes rough skin. I highly recommend it!!!

P.S. Sephoria has an online store, which has alot of the stuff that I recommended!
