Obviously it matters where she went, who with, etc etc (not something for public discussion) but if there's any possibility she's at risk from her circumstances, or could have been injured without a means of contacting her family, then totally yes to reporting her - though the police can't help without information from those who know what her plans were.

Even if she's fine and just decided to escape for a few days, to be honest reporting her will do her the power of good by pointing out she can't DO that sort of thing without loading seven levels of hell on her family.

Whatever the situation, thoughts are with you both for a quick and safe result.

Exactly...She wont be in trouble if they find her (unless she is doing something illegal) in which case she needs to learn. It will show (Hopefully) that you care about her and Like Mindgames said..It will show her that when she does this it worries the whole family...

It depends on a ton of things I have no information about.

How old is she?

What does she usually do with her time?

What are her friends like?

Does she run away from home often?

Does she have other places to go?

Is she having problems with a parent?

Is she usually home every night?

Has she gone on a bender before?

All those things have an effect on if this is a big deal or not.

its not that he didn't know she was leaving,its that she lied about where she was going. She said she was going to a friends house that is like a stones-throw away.
