I don't think I've gone more than five years without one since I hit 21. Changed career, country, lifestyle many times - and while some of the decisions were probably not the best, I'd do it all again. I'm not an optimist, and the 'grass is greener' idea only figures if you're a cow - but I don't believe anyone can say they've found their absolute perfect way of life unless they try every opportunity that comes their way.
I know I've been massively lucky though - choosing to go on tour instead of taking the next fat check from a fruitcase was insanity and for years I was halfway between homeless and happiness, and a tryout life has put me on life support way too many times (modify my statement above and exclude drunken bets about snowboarding), but it's made me who I am and stopped me caring one jot how the rest of the world takes me. Actually thinking about it, the big changes all came after ambulance trips so I may not be the best role model...

Umm.. nope.. no changes in my life.. ROFL
I've been thinking "its time for a change" for about 4 or 5 years now
I'm just stuck in a spot where change seems impossible.
yep I've had some of those
I changed my lifestyle alot. I've been super religious, super athiest, complete liberal, complete conservative, and now i've reached the semi choppy waters of Moderatism and being an Agnostic. Despite making alot of enemies, i've also made alot of friends aswell and enriched myself culturally and intellectually. You have to do what is best for you at the time. Especially when you're young. You know many changes are ahead of you. So don't feel too shitty when they pop up.
Finally I'm having that moment where the change is coming and wow, its nice![]()
I've had both moments of clarity and moments of great opacity where I felt it was time for a change.
Then again, I think the number one thing Blue Blood people tend to have in common is being the sorts of folks to move through a lot of different cultures and roles.
I am definitely feeling that it is time for a change of some sort, yes.
Do you feel that way at regular intervals or just kinda always?Originally Posted by inox
I like change. Trying new things and all that jazz.
I just have the most boring stable life right now, and havent had a chance to experience new things often.
I am about to graduate from the same boring HS I have been stuck in since 1st grade.
It's all just recently starting to kick in too.
I'm about to be going through a lot of changes.
