Has anyone seen those sponge wedge sanders that is used to sand dry wall and of course other things as well...
It works better than the sheets of sand paper, and they last forever.
The point of my topic is ... one day I ran out of nail polish remover, so I used the sander on my toes to gently remove the polish like a gentle nail file, like an emery board. BUT way more durable... and more gentle.
I washed my toes of the excess powered material ... and painted my nails.
You know how they tell you to score/rough up a surface between coats of paint to get them to adhere better ... well, thats how this works.
My nail polish didnt chip, and stayed on FOREVER.
It also makes the nail surface smoother too.
I've used the same sander now for a couple of years. Seriously.
I never put nail polish on without scruffing the surface up first.
(this doesnt reflect my LOVE of chipped nail polish ... I has a certain look I love as well, but if I want my polish to STAY on, I do what I described above)
Try it, and tell me what you think.
