back in the sixties, the internet was primarily a way for military bases to communicate from one abse to another, back in the eighties it started to develop nto a more open market but still wasnt veyr big-not until mid nineties really did it begin to be popular and even then it was nowhere near as big as it became in 2001 and even now it has started to really shape and change.
one of the more popular things now that celebrities and even senators seem to be endorsing left and right is twittering, you can go onto the internet on your cellphone now, stream pictures at the press of a finger and even mit is working on ways to make a computer suit where the monitor is actually a h.u.d setup into a pair of glasses and the stack is wired into a suit. they were originally working on it for astronauts to use in space but it also has mass market potential too.
anyways, if the internet continues to grow-and it will, where do you see it being in oh say....twenty years from now if it doesnt crash?
