I've found that inversion works very nicely with gothic appeal aswell.

I think pink usaully looks cheap but then again I hate the colour pink!!! all my clothes are black or dark purple, the only exception when there not is when I find something that is really unusual and I'm convinced that it will make me stand out and look like a complete freak

Yeah, I'm guilty of Blackaholism as well. It simply suits me. My pale white skin, dark red hair and blue eyes only look good in black.

Of course, I must admit that I AM guilty of wearing white on occasion (it's part of my work uniform!)

I've got a few pink items in my wardrobe, but black is just so essential. Black is on a whole nother level. Anyone who tries to claim pink is the new black . . . well, let's be nice and just say they do not comprehend how classic black is. Black just has a classic appeal. You are so right, Jennifer, the wisdom of moms is that the right little black dress can take you anywhere and that is so true. You know yours can carry you from the punk rock dive bar to the many-starred high end restaurant without even having to stop to powder your nose.

Halcyon far left, OEC far right. I hadn't spoken to him in 20 years, he was an inspirational flair of light even then. Plus an inspiration to get back in the gym now The pink just blows me away. He is the only man on the planet who should wear it. I remain in black.

Nothing wrong with wearing black. I have a lot of black clothing in my wardrobe also, but I love to wear it with red. . . Midnight blue is so nice too and I love dark purple coloured clothing.

I have a couple pink girly floral dresses in my wardrobe (EGAD! I only wear it when I have to go out on family picnics or something). I cannot stop wearing black either...at least 3 - 4 times a week. So, you aren't alone out there.
