Anyone else work thirdshift?

i tend to work those hours when i have a choice. i usually have a choice. but i don't have much of a social life and like it that way

I work from 6 am to roughly 8 pm every week day and then do my own work until about 11 pm each day. Social life is on the weekend when I'm lucky enough to have a free one. For me there is no third shift, just one very long one.

i'm not quite sure what thirdshift is, but i think its like midnites. i worked more than my share at mcdonalds b4 i quit a couple of days ago. it was the pits, cuz the midnite manager was a moron and couldnt help up front when it got busy cuz he couldnt work the tills. so i'd be stuck doing drive thru and cash, while stilling having to get all the extra cleaning done.

also since we were out on the highway there were alot of creeps coming in at like 3 in the morning.

i used to be a baker , i usally came in from 1:00am to abput 4:00am ,but my hours where when ever i wanted aslong as i got there after 11pm and had the bread?pastries ready before 5am,..........i loved it.

i work at the newspaper all night. usually done by 3 am. i wouldn't have it any other way really. i just hang out with other night people.

my first job, i worked 11pm to 7am, at a truck stop. gotta love the crazy, sex-deprived, havent-had-a-shower-in-2-weeks kinda truckers that come in at that time and ask for "sugar" with their coffee. ick.

ive worked in a backpacker hostel 4 days on 4 days off 9pm until 9am dealing with tourist drunks and people who try to book a room at 3am drunk when they cant get home.
ive worked 3-11pm at a porno shop, not bad go out straight after work.
the worst was 2am to 10am at a 24hr porno shop, it had 2 video booths, which i never cleaned, i left that for the day shift. unless it was the day before a public holiday no customers exept for local hookers and their clients and occasional drunk/tourist. The 5-7am joggers pissed me off, coming in and having a look before jogging home without buying anything.
