Asian, Scandinavian, Greek, European, or any other type?
I Love the Mythology concerning the Gods, Demons, and Monsters, more than the actual people, etc.
Example of a cool story I found recently:
Kagatsuchi: A Fire God from Japan. Upon being born, he burned his mother to death by accident, since he was constantly on fire. Enraged by him burning his mother alive, but more because He Killed his father's Wife, his father took his sword, and hacked Kagatsuchi into many pieces, and as each piece was hacked off, the piece formed into a God of it's own, and even the Blood that stained Kagatsuchi's father's sword became a God. I forgot the name of that God, and the others, but the God that was made from the Blood on the Sword is a God Very Revered by Japanese Swordsmiths.
Hua Po: A Fairie/Pixie/Sprite/Demon, that is created/born when 3 people hang themselves in order to commit suicide, from the exact same tree.
Gozuh Tennoh : A Cow Headed Bhuddist God, or a God that Advocated Bhuddism.
Pisaca: In indian culture, when a man drank, gambled, or did other such activities in excess, a Pisaca was born from the emotions and energy associated with that.
Mizumi ( Spelling): A Japanese Snake that is made entirely of Water.
