Acryllic Paint, mixed with Water, and maybe some other stuff?
Either way though, it was cool how the Kool-Aide Idea had turned me Blue.![]()

I like the Special Effects brand hair colors best. You may want to have a pro do it for you, at least the first time, though. You had mentioned having really sensitive skin and it would suck to burn your scalp during the bleach process or something.
Probably. Thanks for the input and feedback Forrest, You Rock!Originally Posted by ForrestBlack

Just go the proper route...you asked this question long ago and Szandora gave you an excellent answer and solution. I'd be not only safer but you'd get the effect you want.
Thanks folks, I'm takin' notes!
I know, but Im also seeking a cheap route for that also.Originally Posted by Tequila Zaire
Really not a good idea when it comes to hair...you'll only end up with something less than you want and it won't last long if at all.Originally Posted by BrightStar
I agree.. You may want to spend a couple of extra bucks on hair dye rather than paint thinner trying to get that paint out of your hair which... probably would make it fall out anyway and then you wouldn't have to worry about it.Originally Posted by Tequila Zaire

TELL ME WHERE TO GET IT!
or get me some. :P
Walmart, for 44 Cents a bottle of Acrylic Paint.Originally Posted by DeadJester

The brand name is: Apple Barrel.
He's right. That's where I get mine, or 88 cents a piece for Plaid at Michaels.Originally Posted by BrightStar

I'd rather pay the $4 to $70 for the paint I need. Quality is priceless once you get to the end product
Its awesome, but you have to buy Varnish from a different brand, or at least get their Gloss paint. The Gloss paint is 2-5 $.Originally Posted by Tequila Zaire
What other stuff? Clorox bleach? Grape juice? HCl? My advice would be to stick to the products that specify that it's for hair. Personally, I would not want to mess up my locks with stuff like paint, paint thinner, turpentine, etc.Originally Posted by BrightStar
I knew a punk-rocker in D.C. that use to put his hawk up with blue Krylon. I think it affected his brain though.
Jeepers. I can imagine. I had a friend that used crazy glue - he thought he was soooo smart. Then he went to bed... he could never get it to stand up again and he ended up shaving all his hair off.![]()
I've managed to get acrylic paint in my hair before accidentally. It made it stiff and chunky, but it is easy to get out. For me, it just peeled right off. The only thing I've had to use paint thinner to get out has been polyurathane (a type of varnish).
Depends on what your painting. I've used Plaid and Apple barrel for dozens of things. Mostly 'cause my acrylic stuff is just for playing around. It peels too much for serious painting.Originally Posted by Tequila Zaire
