Ive had long hair 90% of my life and felt a change was needed..as i wasn't feeling very confident/good about myself in the past couple months and wanted to start something new and fresh for the new year.

Awww now I'm getting all weepy eyed at my severe lack of hair. I didn't have hair quite as long as your old pic, but it was still a little more impressive than it is now. That said, I'm back to keeping massive amounts of essentially glue as my best friend to keep the spikes a spikey.

In any case, the old hair is much more metal, the new hair runs with goth/industrial. Fan of both, depends on your crowd.

I'm returning to hair about the same length as your new shots, except I used to carry a pony tail with the sides down - more acceptable in customer service roles.
