In my store the shrimp is the same price as all the other flavors, including plain.

Damn. Now if you get a fly in your soup would they call it a meat soup and charge you double? Reminds me of Alan Ford.

    Anyone read Alan Ford comics?

Noodles Karl. I really hope you're just being cynical.

I've never had a shrimp with any package of shrimp noodles. Like all other flavors it's a standard block of noodles that comes with a little bag of powder or oily stuff that says 'flavoring'.

Frankly, I've never been able to distinguish it from chicken, duck, turkey, crab or any of the other meat/fish flavors. Noodles are better vegetarian.

It was the cup noodles, not the brick.

Cup noodles here mean your brick is cylindrical, and that's it.

What do you expect - another 800 billion dollars to bail out the economy this week and none of it - not one bent cent - is earmarked for the Nebraskan Faux Shrimpette industry. It costs money to turn nail clippings into snack food, dammit!

I like the noodle soups that have directions in languages I can't understand on the package. I get them at asian supermarkets and while they are not as cheap as ramen, they aren't expensive either. my favorites are glass noodles and udon noodles.
the mexican cup of noodles are good too.

cup noodles here have dehydrated bits in 'em. Nissen is the brand, they have "picante" style as well.

I used to like going to asian markets and getting weird ramen that I never knew what was what (because I'd always try at least one new one.)

Now I prefer to go to noodle restaurants here in chinatown and get rice noodles with various toppings. very cheap, and filling. (Maybe not good for the waist line.) Used to be about $2 but prices have gone up.

I like the Thai rice noodle brands. Tasty.

Ever since Oodles Of Noodles started putting corn in the mix of dried veggies, I just say no. I like corn, but not in soups.

Since I dont eat veggies, I open the cup up a little and shake until I throw all the dried veggies away.

we have 2 minute noodles here, and the little dehydrated vegies are safely seald in a little easy to throw at a friend packet.
on a side note: if you crush the dried vegies into a powder and put it down the back of someones shirt, it makes a halfway decent itching powder.

Do you take any vitamins? Can't you get rickets or something from not eating any vegetables?

Rickets (or osteomalacia for Jax as she's all growed up) is from a deficiency of vitamin D and calcium, so if she goes outdoors and drinks milk she's fine. Scurvy used to be possible if you avoided all fruit and veg, but thanks to the myriad products with extra vitamins and minerals added (soda, candy, bread, cereal, the drinking water supply of lower Manhattan) most specific deficiencies are quite hard to get unless you really try. The only one still prevalent in the US is for magnesium.

I go through about a gallon of milk every three days. I love milk. When I wake up with hangovers, the first thing I do is hit the milk, makes me feel better;] And yep, I go outside quite often.

I also dont drink soda (maybe the equivalent of one can every three weeks or so), dont eat candy (dont like sweet stuff), and dont eat bread. I have very unhealthy eating habits.

Milk is kick ass for hangover cotton mouth. Guzzling that cold shit the next morning. There's nothing better.
