Proto-Pirates? they spent about a century making hit-and-run attacks on northern britain before working up the courage to actually invade. they'd come in, raid a few towns, r^pe a bit, pillage a bit, quaff anything they could find, stay just long enough to bring in the harvest then scarper before the locals got their act together. sounds fairly pirate-like to me...

yes they were the original pirates which is why i respect them but the new vikings are just posers they cat posibly be as cool as the original vikings
