what quicktime plugin do i need? it says i need one and sends me to a page with a ton of them..i dont want to install all of em :P

It's an .avi. You shouldn't be using quicktime at all...

Actually, it's a DiVX .avi. If it was a standard .avi, it would play in Quicktime.

True. But I never use quicktime if I don't have to. It takes too long to load. I prefer the "Creative MediaSource" player.
