Is it necessary that evil exist?

Evil to a point is really a cultural thing. What me might see as an evil action, some other country might see it as a righteous act that was brought upon for very good reasons. Is it necessary that it exists? As long as we have an id, ego, and a superego, it will always exist. Doesn't matter if it's necessary or not. It just will.

evil isn't necasserry, a lot of other things aren't neccassery either, but people want those things so they get evil too to balance it all out. I don't think it's cultural thing, but it's dependant people and thier society but it's sort of an individual thing too.
