Default weird question- where to buy latex?

i figured someone in here might be able to direct me towards a good maker of latex rubber clothing... i don't know terribly much about it, therefore don't want to be fleeced and am willing to meekly take any advice you may have to offer me. i've seen so many independent sites that my head is spinning, and if i'm going to make an investment of this magnitude i sure as hell don't wanna buy something that's crap!

I can help you.. but it is cryptic in nature.
The best person for this type of clothing in my opinion is "Mistress (something or other)" ashe is out of California, San Fran if my memeory serves me correctly. I saw her on real Sex (number I can't remember), I know she has a web presence, cause i go to her site everytime i ma reminded of her. But i haven't seen that episode for a while. I am sorry.

the best advice I can give you is to go to www.fetishgossip.com, and read the reviews of different designers in the designers forum. If you're going to spend the money, you may as well spend it on something that won't fall apart.

There are some local (Seattle) designers who do some really nice stuff. There is http://www.fetishwear.net and Um...the Imp of satan http://www.imp-of-satan.com/ .I've heard good things about both and the lady that runs fetishwear.net is very nice.

I work for Vesperi. I think the webpage is being redone, but we can make anything custom you want. www.vesperi.com
Our stuff is pricey, but good quality. Or you can check out Vex, Demask, Fierce Couture, Marquis, Skintwo, or Atsuko Kudo. All very good quality, all pretty pricey actually.

I recommend the Baroness. Her designs are expensive, but beautiful if you are willing the shell out the cash. I don't know her sight off the top of my head, but she should pop up on google.

I have actually found e-bay to be a good source to find latex. There are a ton of links from from the dealers on there. I have also bought a lot at Fetish conventions. Good luck on your adventure!!!

ebay is what i'm afraid of... they tend to have a lot of fakes/shoddy stuff on there and with my luck, i'd spend a lot of money to get some crappy crap.

if you have the usernames of any good sellers you trust, feel free to send them my way though!

Will do that In the meantime, this site looks real reasonable and actually states the thickness of the latex, which is what you really have to watch out for when ordering online.
    thelatexstore(dot)com
AND actually, I think I may have bought some latex clothing from them in the past at FetishCon. They are a vendor there this year as well (they don't have it listed on their site, but checked FetishCon(dot)com and they are listed as a vendor). If this IS the same vendor that I bought from at FetishCon in the past, I can say that this is a quality place to buy from.

sometimes local porn shops will carry latex paint kits, it's the kind you paint on then peel off. they also carry rubber clothes at some locations, I remember i once bought a rubber dress in my drag days fairly reasonably for like twenty bucks but you wanna make sure to be careful when putting on and taking off latex especially cus most of it aint actually sewn together and itll rip and hten youre fucked.

I wouldn't lend a lot of credence to models anonymously trash-talking designers who got them to model for free and didn't give them clothes, designers anonymously trash-talking other designers whose designs they copied, models anonymously trash-talking designers who didn't ask them to model, and designers anonymously trash-talking other designers who copied their designs.

A lot of the people who post there have legit grievances, but I think they are rarely what they are talking about and won't have much to do with whether or not delicate latex clothing will fall apart.

Jane Doe Latex is probably one of the most amazing desingers I've seen in a long time. Based in the UK, thedesigner, Nina Kate is only 22 years old! You can google her or find her with Jane Doe Latex as her display name on my space.

my space /venusprototype - One of my favorite newcomers. Venus is as sweet as she is talented. You have to check her out.

Syren - One of LA's oldest and finest

Hopefully this helps. Good Luck Sara X!
