My Stockings

So Ive never really sewn anything really before..and these were my first experiances :P

They are two stockings i made for feeBay but im not posting links.. just wanted your opinion on how I did :P


This is my "Sully" stocking... because i think of monsters inc when i see it lol..Its freaking massive!! You can actually wear it as a boot!

And then i have this double sided punk stocking thats red and green plaid with zippers and patches.. and there is a zipper on the bottom that unzips the whole thing so you can just let your candy out! hehe!!




Anywho how do you think i did for first time sewing?

damn, all this talk of stockings, and i don't even have one (the xmas variety, i do own regular socks..... hehe). i'm inspired to make my own now! maybe. if i get around to it.

You would love love love the fashion district in LA. You can buy any kind of fabric you can imagine. I am a big fan of the punk rock one, I am sure they will be a holiday hit (smiles with dimples and pearly whites)

yea ive been down there when i was in LA..i used to live in CA and go down there for shows. havent been there in like 5 years though.. send me fabric :P

lol i have been itchin' to og to the garment district myself. So much to do for the holidays and cuse I am moving. Well if you ever make it back to LA we will go to the garment district together and be like a couple of kids in a candy shop :-)

I have an Elmo stocking my wife bought, and a red giggling happyface stocking a friend gave me. My wife has one of a kitty, and got my roomate a Yoda stocking and a Darth Vader stocking. Vader is cool and shiny. Looks almost like pleather.

I love your stockings. You should be quite proud. Scary Christmas!
