Get a cam-corder, new rifle+ammo, external HD, armor for sca, cool stuff for my car, and uh...use whats left to help pay for my dorm.
I'd probanly just pay a few months rent or mortgage
I would get a new computer something I have been wanting to do for awhile and one which will last for at least two yrs with slight upgrades.
I'd buy a Gibson Les Paul Custom, I'm actually saving for one but hell it would be nice if I just had the money all of the sudden.
If I had to spend 3K fast, and saving it was out of the question (I know this isn't the topic but I am gonna fantasize for my own amusement.....)
I'd either
a. go on a vacation to Xilitla Mexico
b. buy the following items:
many fabrics and craft supplies from the downtown LA wholesale district, including...
fun fur
chiffon
feathers
a spiderweb diamond bra
new shoes
glow sticks for burning man
a tent to take to burning man
i would just go to a bar..
and when i wake up the next day, poof! the money is all gone, LIKE FREAKIN MAGIC!
German mini clamps (a whole set)... pennington tounge clamps...A new second hand autoclave. oh yeah money would be sooooo sweet about now!
i'd give it to BC, cause he's kinda fucked right now....
but if he wasn't, i'd be on the beach in thailand drinking mojitos.
That's sweet. I would help BC if I could. In terms of folks generally, though, it seems lately no good deed I do goes unpunished. I can collaborate with "do-ers" but giving hands-up seems to blow up in my face. I am beginning to wonder if a lot of folks simply mistake kindness for weakness. I tend to come out on top but it makes me bitter. $ doesn't make up for that.Originally Posted by VoltaireBlue

i try to not think like that. money loaned is pretty much money given, and i know that. i believe in karma. karma believes in me.Originally Posted by Jackie T.
I believe in karma. I never loan money, I just give it. Just had a couple of bad experiences I'm trying to reconcile. Giving away a lot of my material stuff was a positive though. I'm happy about who I gave it to and being free of stuff I don't use. When you make more personal efforts to help people, though, it is more difficult when they backfire. Money is nothing. It always seems to come back to me in surprsing ways.Originally Posted by VoltaireBlue
