Placebo – Taste In Men

In Donna Tartt’s The Secret History, she described one of the characters as being either gay or a particularly dangerous sort of womanizer. No special reason why Brian Molko makes me think of this aphorism. Just my taste in men I guess. Not saying this applies to his actual personal life; just making an aesthetic statement. What do you all think of threeway love triangle solutions?

Music video for Placebo’s single ‘Taste In Men,’ taken from the album Black Market Music.

Lyrics

Come back to me awhile
Change your style again
Come back to me awhile
Change your taste in men

It’s been this way since Christmas Day

Dazzled, doused in gin
Change your taste in men

Come back to me awhile
Change your style again
Come back to me awhile
Change your taste in men
I’m killing time on Valentine’s
Waiting for the day to end
Change your taste in men

Come back to me awhile
Change your style again
Come back to me awhile
Change your taste in men

It’s been this way since Christmas Day

Dazzled, doused in gin
Change your taste in men
