Jayme Waxman and Emily Morse Hot Sex Event

On Thursday,October 6, the new-ish Mission Street Good Vibrations location hosted a party for the collaborative effort between Jamye Waxman andEmily Morse, “HotSex: Over 200 Things You Can Try Tonight!” Their hip and informative book is 240 pages of playful suggestions that offer couples respite from boring sex– light bondage, threesomes, perhaps a new position – all delivered in an intelligent and encouraging style.

In addition to a display of the brightly illustrated book, the elegantly appointed establishment had laid out fruit, cheese and crackers, little brownies and a selection of wines and seltzers. I sipped on my sparkly water while waiting for the authors to appear from backstage. Copies of the attractive book were stacked in anticipation of signings and chairs were set out so Ms. Waxman and Ms. Morse could field questions following a brief presentation.

Ms. Waxman, sex educator, Men’s Health writer and author of Getting Off: A Woman’s Guide to Masturbation, and Ms. Morse, hostess of Sirius Network radio’s “Sex with Emily,” both boast impressive followings, so within a half-hour the store was bustling with their friends and fans.

The women posed for photos with the book’s illustrator, Benjamin Wachenje, before providing the crowd with some live sex advice. Emily’s tip was “Slow down” and Jamye expounded on the value of “enthusiasm”! By the end of the event, the store had sold out of the 25 books, leaving fans wanting more.
