Underworld: Awakening Soundtrack Preview

The soundtrack for the upcoming rubber clad vampires vs. super charged lycans movie Underworld: Awakening (in theaters Jan 20th) is set to be released on January 17th and it features a bunch of tracks from some very cool bands and friends of Blue Blood. We’re excited to see the likes of Combichrist and Collide, as well as Ministry, The Cure, Linkin Park, and may others included. Underworld: Awakening is also surprisingly the first in the stylish series to be presented in 3D, so that should be a lot of fun in the theaters.

I tend to enjoy soundtrack compilations, as they are sort of the anthologies of the musical world. I found this soundtrack preview sampler video to be a bit of a trainwreck, from a music blending perspective, but as individual tracks go, there are some enjoyably moody tunes included in the mix.
