Butcher Baby is one of my favorite people Forrest Black and I have photographed over the years. She is so creative with so many flamboyant one-of-a-kind outfits. You’ve probably seen her on BlueBlood.net and on one iteration of the BlueBlood.net flyers sometimes passed out at events. Forrest Black and I have also photographed her for two or three giant Tattoo Savage pin-ups and one of our photographs of her made it into one of the magazine’s prestigious Sexiest Savages round-ups of their hottest photographs from a given year.
This weekend, Butcher Baby is marrying Ethan Graveworm, formerly of the White Chapel Fiends, and they are having a fantabulous deathrock punk rock wedding, complete with a performance by Doom County Electric Chair and RTB luminaries in attendance. People always say they are going to have a cool wedding, but too few people do, so hats off to both of them and double congratulations!
I thought the combination of Butcher Baby’s impending nuptials and the cool Day of the Dead outfit she put together made this the perfect time to post our Butcher Baby Day of the Dead gallery. I didn’t get to decorate any sugar skulls or make paper marigolds today because I was too wiped out from what turned out to be a really grueling Halloween. So this is a mini photographic celebration of the Day of the Dead holiday and a toast from Blue Blood, Forrest Black, and yours truly to the happy couple Butcher Baby and Ethan Graveworm.
