Some Cool Kickstarter Projects

I’ve been exploring Kickstarter the last few days and there are a bunch of really cool projects on there. The site is used for a variety of different sorts of creative endeavors. Here are a few person picks of projects I like.

Rhinestone Gorilla are funding a burlesque tour. Their video is really creative and fun.

Cooking in Heels is a book by Ceyenne (pronounced like cayenne pepper) Doroshow about fifty delicious home cookin’ recipes and transgender issues. Ceyenne Doroshow is working on this book with editor Audacia Ray. Check out the video below. I really like the way Ceyenne Doroshow comes across here.

Sinner Magazine is a Las Vegas entertainment and art publication. The magazine is looking to renovate their studio and keep giving away their mag for free. The Sinner Magazine people say that they feel downtown Vegas is where counterculture is happening in 2012. No idea if they are right, but I’m thinking that is why they are putting out a zine to communicate their thoughts on this.
