True Blood Do Bad Things

The True Blood peeps sent us over some hot True Blood season 3 pictures and a really funny video to share with you all. The video will have to wait because it is a bit of a pain to size, but you can take in the photographic poster hotness now. This season’s slogan is “Do Bad Things” from the Jace Everett “Bad Things” theme song for the show e.g. “I wanna do bad things with you”. (I don’t think the bad things referenced here are eat sushi and not pay, although I guess that works too, under the right circumstances.)

So far season 3 of True Blood features romantic lead Bill Compton suffering through an inspired hilarious multicourse meal (cruelty free blood, warm blood bisque, blood gelato …), plucky Sookie Stackhouse playing detective on the hunt for Bill, kickass Lafayette Reynolds playing more savior to Tara Thornton than she deserves, sexual harassment boss Sam Merlotte seeking out his biological family, Detective Andy Bellefleur playing hero in place of Jason Stackhouse, Eric Northman in a nice extended nude scene which implies somebody at HBO has a membership to Sex and Submission (or maybe Public Disgrace), and also (groan) Nazi werewolves. Also Godric is back, at least in flashback, even if he is wearing a Nazi hat. And it looks promising that Lafayette might get some non-sex work sex action this season too. For a show which has some folks wringing their hands about how queer it is, True Blood could certainly have more hot man-on-man action and the fanfic sites certainly support that the audience wouldn’t mind. Anyway, the new season has just started, so there is plenty of time to catch up, if you haven’t started watching yet.

I’ve been wondering all week what would be good vampire ingredients for blood gelato. Ya know, if I had vampires coming to eat.
