Get Your Kicks Route 66 Book Exhibition

Tonight you can Get Your Kicks on Route 66 on La Brea in Los Angeles. Nate “Igor” Smith, of Driven by Boredom fame, is doing a huge gallery show in the Mishka store at 128 S La Brea Ave from 7pm to 10pm Pacific. The exhibition is to celebrate the release of Igor’s book Get Your Kicks. This is the kind of project people always think they are going to do some day, but Igor actually effing did it, which is infinitely cool. Inspired by adventure and rock and roll, he drove across half the country shooting landscapes of Americana, cool people, and boobs. Details on the art book and the launch event, sponsored by Sailor Jerry rum, are on the DrivenByBoredom web site and presumably, if you want a book (and they are not all sold out already), you can eventually find buying details there.
