Annalee Newitz and Esther Inglis-Arkell Hosting Web TV Show

Sexy Fandom reports that io9 editor Annalee Newitz and Esther Inglis-Arkell are now hosting io9‘s new web TV show. Annalee Newitz is perhaps best known now for editing SF blog io9, but I first came across her writing in features she did on the junction of sex and technology (one of my favorite junctions!) She and Charlie Jane Anders also edited the excellent She’s Such a Geek book where women wrote about their experiences in the boys club world of science. Anyway, the first installment of the io9 web television show with Revision 3 includes electrocuting a pickle, manufacturing scotch in the Space Station (for microgravity alcohol aging science), Wesleyan alum Joss Whedon’s most recent project, and funny captions scratched into pics of cute kittens . . . from the 1870’s. All good stuff, well worth checking out.
