Buttersafe Spring Cleaning

I’d like to welcome semi-new advertiser web comic Buttersafe and thank creators Raynato Castro and Alex Culang for the giggles. I particularly enjoyed the Buttersafe take on spring cleaning. I’ve been TiVoing Clean House lately in the hopes that this will teach me to be able to de-clutter. The Clean House show has a lot of teaching people to figure out what they really use and get rid of collections and such.

A few weeks back, I was at a friend’s birthday party. She had her bday in a bar. I thought I’d previously met one of the people there. In my defense, I did know a large percentage of the people there and he did look very familiar and I did have a sort of beer-y association with him and we were in a bar, so it seemed reasonable to assume I’d previously met him in a bar or nightclub. Turned out he was Santasia‘s Brandon Loeser, the guy who managed to save his beer stein collection on an episode of Clean House, and we had a really fascinating conversation about the ins and outs of that variety of television show. Stuff like this is why living in Los Angeles is surreal.

Weeks later, my house is still not clean. I may resort to the Buttersafe fire method yet.
